Pipe Organ Specifications

This organ was built in 1998 as a 7 rank encased organ for the new Family Chapel of the LaPort Hospital in LaPort, Indiana. In 2020 the hospital relocated and the organ was moved to the Episcopal Cathedral of St. James in South Bend with the intention to enlarge the organ to best fit the new space. In May of 2023, we competed a new independent Great and Pedal for this organ, installing it in a space behind the original case, which became the Swell. The original facade Principal became the Pedal Principal. The enlarged organ fills the room fully with a grand sound worthy of the building. Please stop by if you are in the area. It is a most welcoming group and we are honored to be part of their family.
