This organ is built in a free-standing case in the classic style with detached and movable console. Its fine placement to the left of the sanctuary space, above and behind the choir area allows the 9 stops and 12 ranks to fill this 650 seat church. The organ is entirely enclosed with the exception of the Great Prestant 8', which is borrowed into the Pedal at 8' & 4', and the bass of the 16' Bourdon. The effective swell shades allow a wide dynamic range. The organ provides the backbone to a very active music program which includes both traditional and folk choirs under Music Director Audrey Shafer.
